The Amplitude – Performance (2016)

Posted in Productions

A collaboration with sound artist Mattef Kuhlmey (GER)

Movement and sound collide in space. The empty room is abundant with invisible material. Movement that is heard, felt and sensed in the body. Sound constantly shaping and reshaping the room. By tuning into the simple idea of the acoustic wave, The Amplitude reveals relationship between sound and movement and remixes their channels of perception.

This performance is part of a larger research project called The Amplitude, which will also be presented as a lecture and through a number of educational activities in the East Midlands, around the topic of acoustic waves, sound and space.
