In between a performance and a lecture, “Inventory/Itinerant” introduces several thoughts on the spaces we inhabit and the ones we live in. Based on the Solo Inventory/ Räumung, the starting point is a dance piece that is concerned with the spaces of an empty stage. Several experiments in word, movement and image systematically test the validity of a choreographic approach to the everyday spaces of different cities. First developed in Paris in November 2008, this performance-lecture was adapted to Berlin, comissioned by Tanztage Festival 2009 and Springdance Festival Utrecht in 2009/Dance 4 Nottingham, as part of the Europe in Motion Choreographer’s Exchange Programme.
